Case Study
From 1998-2001, I served as the Marketing Director for San Francisco Spring Break, a business I established with other partners to promote business and revenues of client corporations through targeted marketing of discount programs to student participants and to promote San Francisco to local and national college students as an alternative spring break destination.
I developed a web presence, devised and executed sales and marketing plans that led to the establishment of an immediate market presence and allowed for steady growth in a highly competitive marketplace. I developed project proposals that resulted in the successful capture of over 60% of contracts presented in the first year leading to hundreds of San Francisco businesses participating in a structured discount program to college students on their spring break.
San Francisco Spring Break received an Official Proclamation from the City of San Francisco in 2000 for its impact on the local economy and benefit to student participants.
